Water Smart Workshop - Smart Irrigation Controllers
Nov 08, 2012

with Instructor Jeff Lee

Time: 6:00 to 8:45 p.m.

Description: This class series will walk you through the components of your irrigation system, how to design and install a system, how to program your irrigation timer, and how to troubleshoot when problems arise.

How smart is your irrigation controller? Chances are the answer is not too smart. A new generation of products are available that will automatically adjust your irrigation schedule based on actual site and weather conditions. These controllers can prevent irrigation when it rains, apply more water to your landscape during unexpected hot and dry spells, and automatically adjust watering to reduce runoff from slopes. Learn how this new technology can help save up to 30% on your landscape watering.

There are many different brands and models of these new smart controllers and choosing the right one can be confusing. This class will show you how the different models work and how they are set up so you can feel confident you'll choose the best one for your landscape needs. Get ready to ask questions and collect your rebate - up to $250 is available!

Cost: All workshops/classes are free of charge to Chandler utility customers, but advanced registration is required as space is limited. Registration is available online or by phone. For more information, please call the Water Conservation Office at 480-782-3580 or email conserve@chandleraz.gov.
