  PLANT OF THE MONTH FLYERS

In 1995, AMWUA and the Arizona Nursery Association (ANA), with additional funding from the Arizona Department of Water Resources, developed and launched a program to provide education and marketing tools for to local nurseries in order to better assist their customers in selecting appropriate low-water-use plants.

The effort included workshops for nursery personnel, an educational video called "Seasons of Beauty," and a series of 20 flyers, each featuring a particular species of native or desert-adapted plants. The flyers were distributed to participating nurseries to distribute at no charge to their customers. Every month featured a different species.

Although the flyers were discontinued some years ago, they can be downloaded and printed from this page.

Click on the images to download the flyer for that plant. These files are large, so they will take some time to download.
