  PLANT SELECTION

The possibilities and combinations of plants are as endless as they are exciting. You may want to contrast foliage color and texture, harmonize or contrast flower colors, or combine soft forms with bold or striking accent plants.

These lists demonstrate some of the many ways you can combine low-water-use plants for year-round color, beauty, and function. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat installed to view them.

Plant Selection Resources. There are many more wonderful low-water-use plants beyond the 200 indcluded in the booklet Landscape Plants for the Arizona Desert. For more plant selections and information, view our plant flyers, look into the many publications, Web sites, and demonstration gardens that are available.
