Using your completed landscape plan, mark the location of each plant with temporary marking paint or marker flags.

Make a final check after marking all plant locations. Make sure that the marks correspond with plant locations noted on your plan.

Try to visualize the finished product so you can determine if the plants and trees are spaced appropriately and if this arrangement is what you had in mind.
