Letter to DCP Steering Committee from Senator Otondo

On November 12th, 2018, Senator Lisa Otondo sent a letter to the members of Arizona's Drought Contingency Plan (DCP) Steering Committee, urging them reach agreement in order to implement DCP.
"I challenge you to return to those whom you represent and convince them that all of us must share the pain of the water reductions needed to keep Lake Mead alive. We need the Drought Contingency Plan now. The longer we argue and delay, the more we risk. Time is our enemy. We are facing a common crisis and will all have to take a hit or face the judgment of history. As a native Arizonan, I implore you to put aside your differences and return to the table in a reenergized effort to do all we can to protect Lake Mead." Read the full text here.
